There’s a lot to know about The Creole Cottage and we hope these answers will help you out:

Q. What types of payments do you accept?
A. Cash, Visa and MasterCard.

Q. How long do you hold items?
A. We hold purchased items for 48 hours to give customers time to make moving arrangements. Clearance items must be taken at time of purchase.

Q. Do you deliver?
A. No. However we do recommend Guy n’ Truck for deliveries. He charges $35 for most GNO deliveries, and even makes trips to Houston for your furniture pick ups! You can contact him at 504.442.1447.

Q. Can you hold items that aren’t purchased?
A. We will hold items for one hour to give customers time to make it to The Creole Cottage. Unfortunately we do not hold items longer than that.

Q. What if I leave my purchased item over 48 hours?
A. Items left over 48 hours are subject to resale and you will receive a store credit for the purchase amount if it is resold.

Q. Do you accept consignments?
A. No. We do advertise vendor space when it is available, however.

Q. Can I purchase an item over-the-phone?
A. No. Due to our no-refund policy and used nature of items, we want customers to come in and inspect an item to purchase, to make sure it is in a condition acceptable to you.
